Anyone attending the reception will need to be at ECPOT International Gateway no later than 7:40 p.m. 

Q. How do I get to EPCOT International Gateway?

A. There will be KCU students stationed in the lobby of the Dolphin Hotel.  We encourage you to meet them in the lobby at 6:30 p.m. and walk over as a group.

If you would prefer to not walk to the International Gateway, there is a water taxi that is available outside of the dolphin hotel.  The water taxi is free of charge and makes three stops before it gets to Epcot. There is no set schedule for the water taxi. It is just continuously running. The last water shuttle stops running at 10 PM.

Q. Do I need to show anything at EPCOT that says I am with KCU?

A. You will need a wristband to enter the park for our event and those will be handed out by a KCU student/employee in the lobby of the Dolphin Hotel.

If you are a local to Orlando and not staying at the hotel a KCU employee will be outside International Gateway and can provide you with your wrist band there.

Q. What if I am local to Orlando and not staying at a hotel?

A. The best way to get to the International Gateway is to park at one of the Epcot resorts (Boardwalk, Yacht Club, Beach Club). From there you can either meet us at the Swan/Dolphin and walk over with the group or walk over on your own from one of those resorts. Please note that parking at the Swan and Dolphin will be restricted next month due to a conference.

Q. What can I bring with me into EPCOT?

A. The general rule of thumb is if it cannot go in a plane, then it cannot come into the park. There are no size restrictions as far as purse/bags.

Q. What kind of food and drink will be served?

A. This is a dessert reception with alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage options available. It is recommended that you eat dinner prior to the event.
