Joseph Peters II, a second-year medical student at Kansas City University, has been honored with the prestigious 2024 Burnett Osteopathic Student Researcher Grant from the American Osteopathic Foundation.

In partnership with the Advocates for the American Osteopathic Association (AAOA), the American Osteopathic Foundation (AOF) has presented Krystian Koszalka, spouse of Kansas City University (KCU) alumna Karina Wojtas-Koszalka, DO (COM 2024), with the 2024 Donna Jones Moritsugu Memorial Award.

The Public Health Accreditation Board (PHAB) honored Rex Archer, MD, MPH, Kansas City University (KCU) professor and director of population and public health, with their esteemed F. Douglas Scutchfield Leadership Award in recognition of his outstanding contributions toward strengthening public health infrastructure and improving the governmental public health system.

The American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians of California (ACOFP-CA) announced Steven Barag, DO, FACOFP, as a recipient of the esteemed 2024 ACOFP Master Preceptor Award.

The Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design has recognized Kansas City University’s Center for Medical Education Innovation with a prestigious American Architecture Award.
